Spaces in Transition is an architectural study on the migrant construction workers who come to cities in search of work from villages. It draws a thematic comparison highlighting the stark contrast between their spaces of origin and the existing labour settlements in the city through several case studies undertaken over an year, and leads to several larger questions being asked.

Ultimately there are included certain design innovations and ideas for labour housing which can be evolved as an alternative to the current systems in use.
