RANIPURA 2020

SWASTHA KALYAN KENDRA
SKK

In a village like Ranipura, where the sense of community is so strong and people are gifted with the knowledge of the methods of construction, migration to city for construction work is a common practice. The semester final project focused on creating a vision for Ranipura that would help empower them, give them a strong sense of belief by creating more opportunities for work, enhancing their skills, but also to raise self-awareness by harnessing the issues they face.

The vision led to the formation of three major facilities that would help the village and its people to progress in the manner they thought was only possible in the city. Three sites distributed along the stretch of the village were selected where each of the projects were to be planned out.
