HENRI FANTHOME

Henri Fanthome is the Principal at Henri Fanthome Office for Architecture; a New Delhi based Architectural Design Practice. He also teaches design at the School of Planning and Architecture.

Materiality, Meaning and Sustainability form a central theme to his work, which brings together both Modern material and locally available skills with a clear agenda for environmentally responsible design. He has projects in Delhi, Gurgoan, and Almora, Uttarakhand.

In 2013, he received the IAB Young Designer Citation for Product Design, and has also been among the selected finalists for Interior Design at the Trends Awards 2015.

In recent years, his interest has grown to Public Art and Installation. He was part of Opa-city, a workshop and exhibition on Gender and Space at Max Muller in the summer of 2014. His work has also been part of  Activating Space, April 2015 at Khoj and Hum Sab Nizamuddin, an exhibiton by the Delhi Citizens Museum Project of the AUD and Lalit Kala Akademi in April of this year.
