Our studio aims at mapping the parallel lives of such migration workers. The village setting, their vernacular architecture, lifestyle, sense of living, community and culture. Here is where we investigate the reasons that facilitate migration to cities. Analysing the various aspects that affect them and drawing relations with the migration story. 
 

The city, the transition from home to camps, hope for better living and the adjustment to a new setting, the part 2 of the migration story focuses on the changes in living and usage of space. Architecture wise there is a gravitation towards the kind of transient living that is created due to migration.
